- We have a strict cancellation policy so please notify the office 24 hours in advance, so we can use the time for another patient. Missed appointments are subject to a charge of $30
Uninsured Services
As you know, Ontario health insurance plan (OHIP) pays for most of your medical visits however, some administrative tasks like forms and medical procedures are not covered by OHIP. These services are still provided in our office and can require significant time and resources to administer. In order to keep the flow of this work as efficient as possible, the patient or requesting agency will be charged for uninsured services. Payment will be due at the time of services. All fees are in accordance with Ontario Medical Association fee guide, and a detailed list is included for your review.
There is NO Annual block fee program, you will be charged for individual uninsured items at the time of the service.
Prescription renewal requests will only be completed during office appointment. If there is a request from pharmacy via fax there it will take some time depending on to the number of requests. Our physicians try their hardest to minimize the need for multiple renewals by providing the maximum supply of medication at the time of prescribing during office visit.
